VETERANS DAY WITH EDDIE CANTOR: Actor Eddie Cantor, like many stars of his day, was actively involved with supporting the soldiers during the second World War. The Hollywood Heritage Museum is honoring the day with a look back at the patriotic comedian, his life, and his work. At the Lasky-DeMille Barn, 7:30PM. $10 (refreshments will be served)
FREE NIGHT SKY VIEWING: Well. It is always free to view the night sky, of course, but seeing it through a tricked-out telescope, with astronomers standing near to explain nebulas and planets and stars, is a treat. UCLA is hosting a viewing -- gratis -- at the Mathematical Sciences Building from 7-9:30PM. Clear and cool fall nights. No money needed. Things are looking up.
CONCERTS, COMEDY, VAUDEVILLE: Paramore rocks out the Palladium; the Apple Sisters toast (and roast) Thanksgiving traditions at the Upright Citizens Brigade; and Lucent Dossier Experience begins its Wednesday residency at h.wood with a few tantalizing twirls and come-hither tumbles.
