NEIL YOUNG TRIBUTE CONCERT: Good tunes played by local musicians -- Ferraby Lionheart, The Parson Redheads, Jason Simon, and Delta Spirit included -- in support of the Children's Music Fund. It's at the Bootleg Theatre, it's $12 at the door, and it's where you should be if you dig "Heart of Gold" (and if you have a heart of gold).
HOLIDAY IN THE PARK: Magnolia's pretty merry on most days of the year, but its merry quotient goes up tonight with a community gathering. This has a true neighborhoody feel to us; businesses along a stretch of the Burbank-located boulevard and Hollywood Way will be putting on open houses, there will be choiring, treats, and much celebrating of la vida big B.
