IMOGEN HEAP: We're not entirely sure if she'll have grasses or butterflies or daisies woven in her hair, but we are sure that her electronica-meets-fairyland brand of indie pop will have loads of stylish whimsy. The new album from the songstress is called "Ellipse"; she's at Music Box @ Fonda tonight.
DOWNTOWN SHOWS: David Gray takes his Draw the Line tour to the Orpheum Theatre; "Babylon" remains one of the great songs of the aughts, and is about to celebrate a decade. Notable. Also celebrating tonight: Club Nokia, which is turning one. On hand for the occasion is Band of Horses with Warpaint.
JOHN HODGMAN: He's the bespectacled, dowdy-jacketed PC man in the commercials. And, in bookstores everywhere, he's the bespectacled, author-ish man behind some very tangy and strange tomes of trivia. The writer is making for Book Soup tonight to stir up bit of mayhem. People will be laughing, probably in odd places and at quiet spots.
