KINGS AND QUEENS, KNIGHTS AND JESTERS: Crowns and rare jewels on, Los Angeles. Starting tonight, and continuing all the way through Saturday, American Cinematheque is showing a whole round table of King-Arthur-ly and Renaissance-ish films. Bonus: a Ren Pleasure Faire mini-fest on Saturday, January 9th. It's all minuet-ing at The Egyptian.

LOS TRES REYES: To keep the kingly theme going, we visit Olvera Street, where a procession, candles, songs, and treats welcome Three Kings Day. Enjoy seasonal staples like Rosca de Reyes and enjoy the holiday spirit for one more night, starting at 7PM.

FACEBOOK: Gained a few new friends over the holidays? Friends you hardly know? Time to guffaw over statuses and party pics and everything else crowding the site you visit several times daily. Upright Citizens Brigade will examine real pages, and then comment. Expect laughs to ensue. 9:30PM
