The flapping plastic tablecloth, the Tupperware bins brimming with frosting-laden cookies, the friendly chitchatters sitting in folding chairs behind the card table.

Everyone everywhere likes a bake sale. And when that bake sale is for a good cause, as bake sales often are, even better.

The Eat My Blog Bake Sale is happening right in the middle of bustling Los Angeles on Saturday, December 5th, lending a dose of homespun cheer and fundraising big-hearted-ness to our big city. The bake sale's location is the patio at Zeke's Smokehouse in West Hollywood, the time is 10AM-4PM, and the treat tally will reach up into the several hundreds.

And the mission? Give 100% of the day's sweet take to the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank.

The people behind the tables are bloggers, bloggers you're probably reading. Get to know Hong and Kim of http://ravenouscouple.blogspot.com, Gaby of http://whatsgabycooking.com, and many more.

We say more bake sales, Los Angeles. More bloggy get-togethers, internet. More nice things like raising money via sweets and helping neighbors in need, planet.
