Throw together two nights -- Friday, June 26th and Saturday, June 27th -- then add many, many superstars and up-and-comers who'll be bringing sweet electronic music, trance, ambient, and everything-else-ish one can squish into a major music-licious party. Their destination: LA Memorial Coliseum & Exposition Park.

Add a carnival, like a real rides-and-all whoop-di-do, with merry-go-rounds to boot. Merry-go-rounds! Plus acrobats who twirl fire and shimmy on stilts and somersault overhead and generally lend an old-time big-top feel to the proceedings.

Final ingredient: the fans. Many thousands, in fact, who will be out in happy force to see the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Groove Armada, Thievery Corporation, Shiny Toy Guns, Paul Van Dyk, and bunches of other (bunches=over a hundred or so) DJs, bands, performers, people of light and sound and vision.

Tasty result: Electric Daisy Carnival.

Party starts early each day: 4PM. Party goes late each evening: 2AM first night, 4AM the second. General admission is open to all ages.

First full weekend of summer ahead; definitely time for daisies, and twirling/moving/shaking it well into the wees.
