It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas?

It seems like only yesterday Summer started. Yet, the Grove's annual Christmas tree arrived Monday morning -- a sure sign the shopping season is here.

The 100-foot white fir arrived via flatbed truck Monday morning from the Mt. Shasta area in Northern California. Workers will hoist the tree using a giant crane and then begin the process of stringing nearly 10,000 lights and hanging more than 10,000 ornaments.

The official lighting ceremony is schedule just before Thanksgiving on Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. Grab your eggnog latte and your shopping list, ready or not the holidays have arrived.
