Cup holders and reclining seats are the very least we can expect from movie theater seats these days.
Fans of "Sherlock Holmes" will be able to experience seats designed by D-Box Technologies when the movie opens on Christmas Day. The seats are available at the Apple Valley Cinema in San Bernardino and Mann Chinese 6 Theatre in Hollywood.
The chairs deliver three types of movement during the feature. Subtle pitch, roll and heave will move the moviegoer gently forward and backward, from side to side and up and down.
Be sure to read the fine print. Not recommended for pregnant women, people with heart, back, neck conditions or people drinking hot liquids. Also, not recommended for kids under 10 without parental supervision.
