Tonight: “Glee” Meets Grinchmas

Coach Bieste will be reading the Dr. Seuss classic.

"GLEE" STAR DOT-MARIE JONES: She is memorable, fierce, and root-for-able on "Glee"; now Dot-Marie Jones -- Coach Bieste, of course -- will be at Universal Hollywood tonight to read "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas" live. Alexandra Daddario of "Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief" will be reading earlier in the afternoon.

IRVINE TO ANAHEIM"Stuffed and Unstrung" plays its second night of a five-night run at the Irvine Barclay Theatre; the kids need a babysitter, and you need to love puppet-based bawdiness. And WAR is rocking the Grove of Anaheim at 9 p.m. "Why Can't We Be Friends?" live! Yes.

"REMEMBER LAST NIGHT?" James Whale, the much-biographied, much-lauded director of "Frankenstein," directed this 1935 film about a party that gets very, very out of hand. (The title basically summarizes the situation.) Is this what you need to watch the night before New Year's Eve? Perhaps. It is playing after the comedy "Ruggles of Red Gap," at the Aero.
