Of course, we're betting someone will touch upon the perfect final episode of "Newhart." Our question: Will he ever release a follow-up to his famous "Button-Down Mind" LPs? On vinyl? Wishes. JIM CARUSO'S CAST PARTY: It must be a very Broadway kind of week in LA, what with Sutton Foster in town and now this theater-crowd-(and-crowd-that-likes-the-theater-crowd) favorite landing in town for two days. "HOUSE OF WAX": At ArcLight Pasadena. The 1953 one. Years ago, at Silent Movie, we heard the oh-so-charming Paul Picerni, one of the stars of the film, talk about performing the guillotine stunt.
