JAMIE FOXX LIVE: He won an Oscar for "Ray," waxed hilarious on "In Living Color" and sang on a Kanye West single. So when the thespian-singer-funny-person-all-around-performer takes the stage at The Grove of Anaheim, expect plenty. The man is an excellent balladeer (with a number of albums to his credit). 8PM

CHICANO ROCK! THE SOUNDS OF EAST LOS ANGELES: A rocking documentary celebrating artists from Ritchie Valens to Los Lobos, plus an appearance by music writer Gene Aguilera, and, to quote Cinefamily, a "live set by a very special seminal LA punk band" are on the bill. You love local tuneage; you'll be there. Silent Movie Theatre, 8PM

HEAR NOHO: New musical talents and should-be-hopefully-will-be-discovered musical talents play during this five-hour North Hollywood shindig. The hours are 6-11PM, the artists are many. Where they'll be playing: at cafes, galleries, and other venues around NoHo. Sounds perfectly stroll-y to us. $10
