It's been quite a while now since Vinoteque, the wine bar/tapas bar on Sepulveda, closed its doors. Owner/Chef Jose Maceira took over the space months back and has now opened Green Peas, which had its official debut today. The organic cafe offers breakfast pastries plus an espresso bar that uses fair-trade beans, in addition to the full lunch regalia: sandwiches, salads, paninis, quesadillas, pizza, and soups. Breakfast is served 6-10a, and lunch/dinner until 10p. Free wi-fi is also available, and in about two weeks the outdoor patio will open for al fresco dining. 4437 Sepulveda Blvd. [EaterWire]
