Holiday Hotness Bazaar

HOLIDAY HOTNESS BAZAAR: Myisha McCarthy of Springcart Designs put together this jewelry-and-more market spotlighting the creative output of some 60 designers from around SoCal. The products are as individual as the people making them: sweet candles that look like cupcakes, hilarious, "where-did-you-find-that?" baby duds and nifty knitwear. Think handmade, well-made and made by forward-thinking people possessing oodles of flair.

BURBANK FINE ARTS FESTIVAL: There's nothing quite like a colorful, sprawling-for-blocks art festival to get the brain juiced about upcoming holiday presents. Just when we think we're resigned to going online again, we see a weird, fringe-y scarf or photo collage or small wooden vase that really knocks our socks off. Expect to be joined by 30,000 other browsers at this mondo event (and don't miss the chalk-cool sidewalk creations and "here's-how-I-make-it" artist demonstrations).
