Its only made a big deal by the media because of who he is. If this wasn't such a significant event in our history, then the media wouldn't be so interested in every freakin' detail of what the Obamas are doing . How do they expect the people to react to such news knowing that each and everyone of us is struggling to make ends meet each month. This is not a smart move at all.
