Celebrated photographer Annie Leibovitz chats about her new book "Annie Leibovitz at Work," at the Skirball Center.

Scarlett Johansson and Keira Knightley hanging out, sans frockage, with Tom Ford? Beyonce as Alice in Wonderland? Demi Moore, fully nude and very pregnant? It isn't hard to tell -- instantly -- that a photo is a creation by Annie Leibovitz. Her daring, delicious portraits of celebrities have made headlines -- the Miley-Cyrus-in-a-sheet photo in "Vanity Fair" a few months back being one instance -- not to mention a whole new way of looking at the famous.

That new way of looking at the famous -- and the many other subjects she points her lens at -- is on the table as the photographer appears at The Skirball Center to discuss her new book "Annie Leibovitz at Work." And while we're fond of the humor she instills her photos, like Jack White as a knife thrower at a carnival (Meg is his placid-faced subject), we're hoping she'll chat about working with people like the Queen of England and Barack Obama. How intense must it get when photographing a world leader? Is it the same as a movie star? Questions.

We'd also love to hear how those gorgeous "Vanity Fair" Hollywood issue covers come together; getting nine or ten starlets to act simultaneously sultry on cue must be quite the challenge, but one the photographer clearly lives up to year after year.
