Tatum O'Neal's Chinatown Condo Sold

Sold! Tatum O'Neal's Chinatown Condo

Actress Tatum O'Neal has sold her 1,435-square-foot home for $1.72 million, reports The Real Deal.

The condo, located near Chinatown, has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and was previously a rental. In 2011, it was being rented at an asking price of $7,000 a month, but on Sept. 13 it was no longer available, and the following day it went on sale for an asking price of $1.65 million.

The home has a domed ceiling that was originally part of the lobby of the Forward building. The 45,000-square-foot building, built in 1912, has 29 units, but O'Neal's is the only one with direct elevator access from the street. The building was turned into condos in 2006, and many of the original details have been preserved, like the stained-glass windows inside O'Neal's unit that were updated with a double pane so that they can open.

The listing of the home reportedly prompted quite the bidding war.
