Producer Mark Burnett has an idea for a new game show.

The Hollywood Reporter reports today that “Survivor” executive producer Mark Burnett has sold a pilot for a new game show to ABC called "Trust Me, I'm a Game Show Host." And it wouldn’t be a Mark Burnett production without a SHOCKING TWIST YOU’LL NEVER SEE COMING! The details:

In a format twist, the show will have two hosts who will match wits about various subjects with contestants culled from a studio audience.

One of the hosts will be telling the truth, the other will be deceptive, and contestants will have to figure out which to trust. Casting is under way for the two hosts.

Oh, snap! Two hosts! Not just one and a half hosts, like “Wheel of Fortune,” but TWO full hosts! Who do hosty stuff!

If I’m reading this right, this show would appear to boil down to "Hollywood Squares" with just two squares. Do you agree with Whoopi Goldberg when she tells you that Alpha Centauri is a brand of Persian cereal? You do? Well then, you’re a moron.

Obviously, this reverse-engineered “To Tell The Truth” will only work if they secure the right hosts. Do you go with two shady guys as hosts, so you never believe either one? Do you go with two genuine guys hosts, so you’re shocked when they lie? Do you mix it up? What if Joe Isuzu is telling the truth, while Donny Osmond is lying? STUNNING.

No word on when "Trust Me, I'm a Game Show Host" will reach the air.
