125 iPads Stolen from Best Buy

A pair of thieves/serious Apple fans went all out for their holiday "shopping" this year.

Police said just before midnight Thursday, two men used a yellow crow bar to break into the Best Buy store at 1127 Industrial Road in San Carlos.

Apparently, 125 iPads were on a steel rack inside the store. But instead of just grabbing a few, the suspects decided to drag the entire rack out of an emergency exit door.

They stuffed it into a car and took off with an estimated $100,000 in iPads.

The suspects were described as "a slim man who wore a black jacket, pants and beanie with white shoes," according to the Mercury News. "The other suspect is described as being as tall as 6 feet, also slim, and wearing a black hoodie and pants."

So if you know someone with a few too many iPads, especially if they have a suspicious yellow crow bar, you can call the San Mateo County Sheriff's anonymous tip line at 800-547-2700.
