Apple Lion Hits 1 Million Downloads

What happens when Apple makes it even easier to access it products? Sales numbers break records.

Just a day after it was revealed that the Cupertino-based everything-maker has more cash on hand than the Gross Domestic Product of 126 countries, it was announced that on the first day Apple released its new operating system, there were more than one million downloads.

OSX Lion went public in Apple's App Store Wednesday for $29.99. Thursday the company said it registered one million downloads of the OS.

Needless to say, it is the fastest any of Apple's OS have hit the mark.
