Monday could be the day many fans of the "Silver and Black" have feared for years. NFL owners stationed in Phoenix could vote as early as Monday to approve a relocation effort that could send the Oakland Raiders to Las Vegas. A total of 24 out of the NFL's 32 owners must approve the request submitted by owner Mark Davis and the East Bay franchise. ESPN's Adam Shefter on Monday tweeted that it "sure sounds like the Raiders have all the votes they need to move to Las Vegas. Get used to...the Las Vegas Raiders."

Podiatrist Who Set Free Throws World Record Dies at 94

A California podiatrist who made history when he shot 2,750 consecutive free throws has died. He was 94. Dr. Tom Amberry died in Long Beach on March 18, said his granddaughter, Roxanne Amberry. The retired podiatrist earned a spot in Guinness World Records and brief celebrity in 1993 after he lobbed in shot after shot for 12 hours. Amberry later said he could have shot many more free throws, but a janitor interrupted him because it was time turn off the lights and close the small rec center gym in Orange County.
