Metta World Peace is in a Funny Mood Following Lakers Win Over Cavs

Metta World Peace is known for dropping funny quotes, but after the Lakers' win over the Cavs on Sunday night, Metta puts on a hilarious performance with his words.

If you have yet to see part one of this incredibly hilarious rant from Metta World Peace following the Los Angeles Lakers’ win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, we advise you to do so immediately. It is worth at least a couple laughs, and it is only available on Triple Threat.

In part one, World Peace blamed the Los Angeles Media for not promoting team, focusing too much on stars, and turning into Clippers fans.

World Peace even called the Chinese CCTV “Clipper Channel Television.”

In part two, Metta completes his thoughts by praising up-and-commer Earl Clark and loudly admits that the Lakers’ second unit beats the first unit in practice “all the time.” Metta says Clark is a big reason for that. He also talks up the fourth-year forward out of Louisville by saying that nothing Clark has done to this point has surprised him. Metta even goes as far as to say that Clark can do more.

If Metta appeared animated in part one, just wait till you see him in part two. This video picks up moments after part one concludes, but Metta now has teammate Chris Duhon acting as a hype-man saying “get ‘em” and cheering Metta on as he picks up steam in his performance for the media.

Duhon is genuinely entertained by the show and says, “I got the best seat in the house.” Duhon’s locker is next to World Peace’s locker.

World Peace goes on to beg the media to stop promoting stars and start promoting the concept of a team. He finishes the interview by individually asking everyone in attendance to “start promoting team.”

Take a look at both videos, and we promise that you’ll be glad you did.
