One Ticket, 300 Vendors: Holiday Shopping Nirvana
When it comes to gift-giving, "unique and personal" generally trumps "Gap sweater" -- no offense to the Gap, of course.
But if you had a chance to check names off your holiday shopping list at an event where more than 300 local designers and artists were selling their wear-able, hang-able and display-able wares, you would go, wouldn't you?
And if you knew that your modest $10 admission was going to partially support local non-profit 826LA, wouldn't it sweeten the shopping deal just that much more?
You're in luck. Unique LA is holding its second annual Holiday Show this weekend, and the price of admission gets you access to all the vendors (read: clothing, accessories, stationery, jewelry, housewares, art, edibles, plush toys, photography and -- whew -- more) on both Saturday and Sunday.
