Packaging is a powerful thing. Exhibit A: Boots Original Beauty Formula Bath Foam, at left. The bottle, with its vintage apothecary styling, is saying "if you use me you will feel like Audrey Tatou in a Parisian flat's claw-footed tub," which is more than enough to get our sale. And upon closer examination, when you realize it will only set you back $12.99 and a trip to your local Tar-jay, you think you'll go ahead and buy the whole line of products. Because they'll make your bathroom look pretty. Damn packaging. Gets us every time.
