Waaaay back in August the LA Times published a piece called "Drugstore Beauty Challenge" which broke down the best of eye shadows, lipsticks and mascaras at the corner CVS. It's the kind of article *someone* might have been compelled to rip out of the paper and stuff into their purse until -- tattered and yellowed -- they re-read it while roaming the aisles of Walgreens in search of Advil and body lotion. (A hunch).
In the Times article, makeup artist Craig Beaglehole and the author, Melissa Magasaysay, made mention of Maybelline Lash Stiletto as a "keeper" from the mascara department. The idea of ones lashes being long as stilettos is both strange and appealing all at once. Well, as of today, there is at least one female at NBCLA.com that can confirm this recommendation as a good one. $7.49 at the drugstore of your choice.
