All hail the tube sock, that famous foot-protector found on football fields near and far. In recent years, of course, the super-stretchy-all-white-with-stripes-near-the-top stocking has left the athletic field and become a fashion staple.
And a sartorial staple of Down & Derby, that terry-cloth'd shake-it-a-thon that will be returning to the Echoplex on Saturday, October 31st. Yep, that's Halloween, which means we'll want to really do it up, outfit-wise, and doing it up means having the appropriate sockage.
We found these thigh-high beauties at American Apparel. They come in lots of hues, not just traditional white, and they're $15, which fits into our costume budget nicely. Oh, and our every-other-day-of-the-year budget, too.
