IT'S NOT A RIDDLE: But it kind of sounds like one. Maybe a riddle from a Lewis Carroll-esque story. When is something that's over not over? There's only one answer we know of, and that's when "3rd Weekend" rolls around. It's part of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, which wrapped on Sunday, Feb. 6. And although "wrapped" typically means "has ended," the festival actually hasn't ended.
THE DEAL: The ended-but-not festival celebrates a "3rd Weekend" of the festival with completely gratis screenings of some of the fest's best offerings. The movies will show over the Feb. 11-13 weekend, and we say get on this, if you like Santa Barbara, cinema, and free stuff. We all like all three, because those are three very easy things to like.
