Food Truck Fare After Dark

FOR SURE: The food truck phenomenon has belonged, in its fairly short but fairly big history, to both the day and the night. We've seen trucks pull up in front of clubs and we've seen burritos and pizza being devoured at midnight. But truly? Daytime truckery kind of nabs the headlines. The visits to office parks and towers and all of those hungry workers who didn't have time to pack their sack. The noontime truck is more the standard, in a lot of minds, then the dinnertime version. But, here and there, that is starting to change. Take the OC Fair, for instance. The fair has been hosting a daytime food truck thing on Thursdays for over a year now. Now they're going nighttime, starting on Wednesday, Oct. 5, with Food Truck Fare After Dark.

HOURS/DAYS: The After-Dark deliciousness'll be going down every Wednesday from 5:30 to 9 p.m. The trucks will change, but if you follow the fair on Twitter, you'll get a rundown of what the coming week will hold. Now, when will more nighttime get-togethers of a truckly nature become a standard weekly thing? Some people can't get away from work or their daytime duties. It would be a tasty service, is what we're saying.
