AGAVE GATHERING: Most people, we'll wager, continue to gravitate to their favorite labels when ordering a lovely libation. And, we'll wager, most people might expand get a bit more adventurous after attending the Santa Barbara Tequila Harvest on Tuesday, Aug. 17. It's at the Cabrillo Pavilion, and about 40 different types of the bronze-y sip will be set out for samplers.
TUESDAY NIGHT: It is on a weeknight, not a weekend, but if you've been wanting to find a quality Tequila tasting, you might build a Santa Barbara stay around the event. Price is $40 in advance.
HOW WE TRY TEQUILA: There will also be instruction on the actual consuming of the agave-based beverage, in addition to lessons on the beverage itself. Have we not been sipping it in the right way? Clearly direction is needed.
