As any parent can attest, traveling with teens and tweens can be tough. Too young to do their own thing, too cool to hang out with their parents, these kids are often stuck in social no-man's land during family vacations.

If only there were a club hip enough to keep them entertained and safe enough to put parent's minds at ease.

Well, now there is. Beginning June 15 and running through August 12, SeaWorld San Diego will be hosting Club Atlantis, a nighttime discotheque exclusively catering to kids. Every Thursday through Sunday, from 7 to 10 p.m., children of all ages can dance to the beats of DJ Marc Thrasher, a mixmaster who has played at adult clubs like the House of Blues and opened for the likes of Hillary Duff and Dave Chapelle. In addition to a steady stream of hot jams, Thrasher also mixes videos that are projected up on the club's shade structure.

New this year is the Coca-Cola VIP Lounge where you can win your way to hang out with friends in this exclusive area and enjoy Coca-Cola products during the first 90 minutes of Club Atlantis.

As if that weren't entertaining enough, a SeaWorld dance team will perform on Thursday and Sunday nights and a local hip-hop group will wow the crowd on Friday and Saturday nights.

Located in Club Atlantis Plaza, Club Atlantis provides the perfect environment for kids to have fun, feel independent and meet other children their age. Plus parents can stay busy by enjoying all the other activities offered during Seaworld's Summer Nights program.
