A Very Merry San Francisco Holiday

MINTY MERRY: Okay, Mandarin Oriental. You got us. In fact, you got us three times. One, with this gorgeous photo of the San Francisco skyline, which couldn't be more San-Francisco-y if a committee devoted to San-Francisco-ing photos up took charge of it (they clearly don't need to). Two, your new 2010 seasonal package -- called "A Very Merry San Francisco Holiday" -- promises minty hot chocolate beverages, and if you begin any promise with "minty," you instantly have us in your thrall. And three, there's a "Twinkle Tour" that's part of the package, and "twinkle" is such a nice word. Maybe only second to "minty."

THE DEAL: Stay at the Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco from Dec. 1-30, 2010, and snag some minty bevs and a twinkly walking tour and cards showing various SF-y sights. Price kicks off at $355 and up. Should we add there are baked treats with your chocolate drink? This is San Francisco, after all, home to *at least* 67% of the world's tastiest pastries (so studies will show one day).
