PERSEIDS PLEASURES: Finding the ideal spot to view cosmic events like the Perseids -- which will be highly visible on Thursday, Aug. 12 and Friday, Aug. 13 -- can be a challenge. Finding an overnight spot can be even a bit trickier. But Sea Ranch Lodge on the Mendocino coast has that all worked out for us.
