Students Eye Art

Putting their mark on the artistic world

Hundreds of talented and gifted young artists are readying their canvases for a one-of-a-kind art show.

Students from more than 30 public schools in the San Fernando Valley area will participate in the 9th Annual Valley Wide Art Show and Family Arts Festival.  The location is not your typical art gallery.  Instead, you can catch the art festival at the Chatsworth Train Depot on March 29.  From the hours of 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., you can browse through the student art projects and soak in musical performances from other students.

Adult artists will also showcase their work at the festival as well as conduct art demonstrations.  The program is produced by the Arts in Education Aid Council, Inc in partnership with the Chatsworth Chamber of Commerce.  The Chatsworth Train Depot is located at 10038 Old Depot Plaza Road in Chatsworth.  For more information go the Arts in Education Aid Council, Inc. website.
