NBC4 Southern California expanded Life Connected with “Life Connected Helping Hands,” sponsored by Jerome’s Furniture. NBC4 teamed up with a local nonprofit to identify a family in need of a helping hand.
The first in a series of Life Connected Helping Hands is a family who turned to Orange County-based Serving People In Need (SPIN) after they became homeless and were living in their car. Breeana, David and their two children were placed by SPIN in to permanent housing in Anaheim, and that’s when Jerome’s Furniture stepped in and furnished their new home.
SPIN helps families and individuals who are in crisis to permanent self-sufficiency through long-term, proven care management and support services.
NBC4 Southern California’s Life Connected news franchise celebrates the diverse landscape of the Southland, featuring individuals who have come together in unique humanitarian ways to positively impact the quality of life of others. To watch the Life Connected stories, click here.
