Is Coffee Actually Good For You?

Coffee: Is it good for you?

Is coffee actually good for you?

Although it may be surprising to some people, a new study shows drinking coffee may reduce some women’s risk of uterine cancer.

After looking at data spanning a twenty-six year period, scientists found women who drank more than four cups of coffee a day had a 25% reduced risk for developing the disease.

The health benefit was also seen with decaf coffee.

Other studies have found coffee consumption appears to lower the risk for diabetes.

We do need more studies to be sure and we do warn pregnant women and people with certain heart problems to cut caffeine use to a minimum.

And if caffeine makes you jittery, you may want to quit slowly over a period of about a month

For others, caffeine may turn out to be a health benefit, but ask your doctor what’s right for you.
