In October and November, the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services’ Resource Family Approval Division is holding two Resource Family Recruitment Expos for those interested in becoming foster parents.
The events are held on October 21 at Expo Art Center in Long Beach and on November 4 at the Katy Geissert Library in Torrance.
Attendees will learn how to become a foster or adoptive resource parent and other important ways to help local children and families in need.
