    Music Festival to Benefit Children's Charities

    We Are LA Family Music Festival, taking place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 17, 2016 at StubHub Center in Carson, benefits seven children’s charities with performances by celebrities and artists including Kevin Costner, Katey Sagal, Lisa Loeb and Rachel Platten, among others.

    The day long, family-friendly music festival aimed at entertaining and educating families also supports nonprofit organizations Amer-I-Can, CASA of Los Angeles, Happy Trails for Kids, Junior Achievement of Southern California, Richstone Family Center, 826LA and the LA Galaxy Foundation.

    Attendees will enjoy two stages of entertainment from performers including Kevin Costner and Modern West, Reluctant Apostles featuring Katey Sagal, singer/songwriter Rachel Platten, YouTube sensation Jessica Sanchez, Ozokidz presented by Ozomatli, Lisa Loeb, Lucky Diaz and The Family Jam Band, Rhythm Child, and more. Magician and comedian Justin Willman – the host of 'Cupcake Wars' – will also mesmerize audiences.

    Guests can play soccer with the LA Galaxy Foundation, toss footballs with Amer-I-Can, explore with Kidspace Children's Museum, kayak and fish with the National Park Service, face-paint with Hollywood makeup artists, visit with animals from STAR Eco Station as well as other great activities.
