NBC4 to Award $200,000 to Fund Innovative Nonprofit Organizations

Qualifying nonprofit organizations in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties are invited to apply for a grant, beginning May 26 through July 3

NBC4 Southern California is offering local nonprofit organizations the opportunity to compete for $200,000 through the 21st Century Solutions grant challenge.  To review the eligibility criteria and  complete an application online, click here.

Qualifying nonprofit organizations in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties are invited to apply for a grant, beginning May 26 through July 3.  This fall, one organization will be awarded $100,000, and two runners-up will receive $50,000 each.

The 21st Century Solutions initiative recognizes innovative programs in the following focus categories: Civic Engagement, Education, Environment, Jobs and Economic Empowerment, Media Arts and Technology. Qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations can review the eligibility criteria and complete an application online.

This program is funded by the NBCUniversal Foundation and in partnership with the 10 NBC Owned Television Stations for a total of $1.2 million in 30 grants nationwide.
