NBC4 Southern California is the exclusive media sponsor of the L.A. County Alliance of Boys & Girl Clubs 2015 Teen Summit again this year with the station making a contribution to the organization supporting youth in Southern California.
The event is on November 21 at UCLA attended by more than 1,200 teens from Clubs county-wide. The opening ceremony features a special greeting from several NBC4 anchors and reporters, many of whom are Boys & Girls Club alumni, offering words of wisdom to the students.
Sports Anchor Mario Solis will be moderater and panelist of the popular sports panel, and Meteorologists Anthony Yanez and Shanna Mendiola will discuss careers in media. NBC4 will also have a booth at the event to engage with students one-on-one.
