The Community Foundation, an organization that provides funding to hundreds of nonprofits throughout the Inland Empire, is celebrating its 75th Anniversary on October 15 in Riverside.
NBC4 Anchor and Reporter Robert Kovacik will serve as Master of Ceremonies and help spotlight the Honoring Tribal Alliance of Sovereign Indian Nations and several local tribes for their philanthropic giving, spirit, and support in the region. The event will also benefit the Foundation's Youth Grantmakers Program to foster engagement in philanthropy.
NBC4 has supported the foundation for several years to benefit many nonprofit groups based in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Watch a Life Connected story that aired as part of a Hispanic Heritage Month special which featured the organization's president and The Community Foundation.
