Comcast NBCUniversal and NBC4 Support Asian American Journalist Association Event

Comcast NBCUniversal and NBC4 Southern California sponsored this year’s Asian American Journalist Association’s annual V3 Digital Media Awards Reception at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles.

Three awards were presented to influential journalists including the ‘Vision Award’ bestowed to Ann Curry, NBC News correspondent in honor of her many journalistic achievements. Other awardees included LA Times restaurant critic Jonathan Gold and singer-songwriter Judith Hill.

The conference brings together more than 300 multi-ethnic journalists, bloggers, social media experts, digital media leaders and storytellers to create thought-provoking dialogue. Learn more at www.v3con.com.

The awards reception was emceed by MSNBC Anchor Richard Lui and included remarks from NBC4 President and General Manager Steve Carlston, who highlighted the company's commitment to diversity in the media and news sectors.
