NBC4's Carolyn Johnson to Host the Girl Scouts of Greater LA's Gold Award Ceremony on June 3

Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles (GSGLA) will celebrate the achievements of over 250 Girl Scouts who have earned the Gold Award—the highest honor in Girl Scouting. This year's GSGLA Gold Award Ceremony will be hosted by NBC4 Anchor and Girl Scout Alum Carolyn Johnson on Saturday, June 3, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.

To earn the Girl Scout Gold Award, girls must demonstrate extraordinary leadership through "Take Action" projects that make a sustainable impact on their communities and abroad; for example, GSGLA will honor Girl Scouts who educated communities in China about hand sanitizer, organized events to empower girls, taught kids how to build computers in underserved communities, and more.
