NBC4 Meteorologist Crystal Egger, who reports the weather during the morning newscast, “Today in L.A.," from 4:30 to 7 a.m., will co-emcee the event on April 26 with celebrity mom Hilary Duff.

March for Babies supports research and community-based programs that help mothers have full-term, healthy babies. The event has been held annually since 1970, and has raised a combined total of $2 billion to help all babies get a healthy start in life.

The Los Angeles event, the largest in California, is a 3-mile walk that kicks off from the Natural History Museum in Exposition Park at 8 a.m.
