The so-called Burglar Bunch may have used a celebrity real estate website to scope out its alleged victims, and that has shocked the site's owner.

The Burglar Bunch, also known as the Bling Ring, is accused of sneaking into the homes of Lindsay Lohan, Megan Fox and Orlando Bloom. As part of the planning process, one of the celebu-thieves allegedly used TMZ, Google Maps and CelebrityAddressAerial.com, according to a search warrant.

David Ruppel, webmaster of CelebrityAddressAerial.com, says the information he's posted is "not revealing anything or violating anyone's privacy."

"I want the public to know that none of the information I have on my website is hidden, secret stuff," Ruppel said. "All of the information on my site is public record ... I just aggregate it."

"Some people might have problems with it, and so what?" Ruppel told City News Service in a telephone interview. "People have problems with a lot of things and that's too bad. People are going to disagree sometimes."

According to police and prosecutors, the suspects stole more than $3 million in jewelry, designer clothes and accessories in a spree that started in December and continued into October.

The Bling Ring defendants include Courtney Ames, 18; Alexis Neirs, 18; Diana Tamayo, 19; Rachel Lee, 18; Nicholas Prugo, 18; Roy Lopez Jr., 27; and Jonathan Ajar, 27.
