Guv to Shoot Action Film Amid Budget Drama

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger will shoot an action film as California's budget drama continues, according to the website TMZ.com.

The website reported that Schwarzenegger will be in Sylvester Stallone's new movie, "The Expendables." The movie is scheduled to begin shooting next month.

The movie also features Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Sandra Bullock, Jet Li, Ben Kingsley, Forest Whitaker, and Dolph Lundgren, who portrayed Stallone's grim-faced opponent in "Rocky IV." Stallone will act and direct.

Meanwhile, in Sacramento, the Senate needs just one GOP vote to pass the budget, but Republicans in that chamber have steadfastly refused to boost taxes. The plan appears to have sufficient support in the state Assembly.
