Minka Kelly Leads New “Charlie's Angels”

Angels never die, and television's most famous trio of celestial beauties is coming back.

Mika Kelly, Rachael Taylor and Annie Ilonzeh are already taping shows for a pilot that could air next fall on ABC. The reboot of the classic 1970s series which starred Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith for its most celebrated lineup, will bring back another icon from that decade. Robert Wagner will play Charlie, the always off-camera role made famous by John Forsythe.

The latest incarnation has the three beauties, including baseball superstar Derek Jeter's flame Kelly, as reformed criminals brought together by Charlie to redeem themselves, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Drew Barrymore, who played one of the angels in the movie versions, is executive producer for the show. Ramon Rodriguez will play Bosley, the go-between who shepherds the babes through their caper-cracking.

"I've been doing Bosley boot camp for the last two weeks," he told E! "It's fight training, gun training, hanging with the Angels, getting to know my girls, getting to know Charlie. It's been a really, really fun time in Miami."
