Hours after the news of the singer's death was revealed, the family gathered at the home of Michael's parents – Joe and Katherine Jackson – in nearby Encino, Calif., as previously reported on Access Hollywood.com.

On Friday morning, Janet was photographed arriving at Van Nuys airport near Los Angeles, reportedly on her way to join her family.

"She [was] in pre-production on a film," Crear added.
