“Jersey Shore” Cast Gets Big Payday

Who knew fake tans and bullet-proof hair required so much upkeep?

MTV has announced that the cast of the "Jersey Shore" will be getting a raise for Season 4 - bumping their salaries up to $100,000 per episode.

The contract negotiations were believed to be a major factor in the delay of their planned trip to Italy, forcing MTV to push the start date.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the cast recieved around $10,000 per episode for Season 2, and close to $30,000 for Season 3.

MTV still has not confirmed a start date for Season 4 - presumably because there's still the whole issue of outraged Italians that has yet to be ironed out.
