Lindsay Lohan Working on Terms of Probation: Judge

Another progress report was scheduled for October

Lindsay Lohan has been working to meet terms of her probation, a judge determined Thursday after the actress attended a progress report at the Los Angeles International Airport courthouse.

After her attorney explained what Lohan had done to satisfy terms of her probation, the judge scheduled another progress report for Oct. 19. The court proceeding lasted about 30 minutes.

Lohan pleaded no contest May 11 to a misdemeanor  grand theft charge involving a necklace priced at $2,500 that was taken from a  Venice jewelry store. She was placed on three years probation and ordered to complete 120 days  in jail and 480 hours of community service to which she had been previously sentenced for violating her probation in a 2007 misdemeanor DUI case.

The 25-year-old Lohan has completed 33 hours of the  community service requirement and attended shoplifter counseling.

"Get done with that community service and your life will be back in order, pretty much," Judge Stephanie Sautner said Thursday.

Lohan also was given 21 days to enroll in a one-on-one psychological counseling program.

"Trust me, she will be held to that (enrollment) deadline,'' Sautner  said. "I will not take into consideration, 'Sorry, I was on the set of the  John Gotti movie.' This will be completed on time.''

Lohan's attorney, Shawn Holley, said the actress cannot be in group  sessions because of the publicity surrounding her and the possibility of  someone in the group trying to profit from information gleaned from the  sessions. Holley said Lohan had been enrolled in one-on-one counseling sessions  with a psychologist at UCLA, but had to end that program due to "financial  issues'' that apparently involved her insurance coverage through the Screen  Actors Guild.

On May 26, Lohan was booked at the Century Regional Detention Facility in  Lynwood and immediately released to serve her jail sentence through detention.  She served about one month of home detention, with her sentence ending on June  29.

She remains on probation and still must complete the community service  hours.
