R&B diva Rihanna asked cops in Los Angeles Friday to return more than a million dollars in jewelry she was wearing when she was allegedly attacked by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.
The star was iced up in a pair of earrings and three rings made of "yellow metal" and emblazoned with "white stones" during the February attack, which happened as Rihanna and Brown were on their way to a pre-Grammy party.
Cops seized the jewelry as evidence after Rihanna filed formal charges against "Run It" singer Brown.
Rihanna's lawyer officially petitioned cops to give the jewelry back Thursday, saying police no longer need the bling since Brown has already appeared in court and pleaded not guilty to charges of felony assault and making criminal threats.
The jewelry was reportedly on loan to the "Umbrella" diva from four companies who weren't immediately named.
Brown allegedly kicked, beat, choked and punched Rihanna Feb. 8, leaving her with a swollen lip and bruised eyes.
