On the next "TV One Access," host Tatyana Ali and correspondent Quddus pay tribute to Hollywood's most inspirational moms in honor of Mother's Day. The hour-long special, "The Moms of the Year," is produced by TV One's monthly entertainment news program, "TV One Access." The special premieres Sunday, May 10, 2009 on cable's TV One.

In this episode, "TV One Access" salutes Hollywood moms who have overcome tremendous odds and who are inspiring role models to other African-American women. The group of commendable moms ranges from actress Jada Pinkett Smith to Cathy Hughes, who is the founder and CEO of Radio One and TV One. Smith grew up as a daughter of divorce and has been devoted to making sure her blended family with actor Will Smith is a successful one, while Hughes went from being a young teen mother to being the first African-American woman to head a publicly traded company.

"No one is deserving of a celebration like a hard-working, multi-tasking mom and 'TV One Access' is recognizing the ten most amazing moms who do it best!" said Monique Chenault, Senior Producer, "TV One Access."
